Scriptic, formerly known as Dead Man's Phone, is an interactive crime drama app that allows players to step into the role of a lead detective solving murders through the victim's smartphone. This BAFTA-nominated game brings the excitement and intrigue of a crime podcast right to your fingertips.

In Scriptic, players will search through the victim's personal messages, photos, and apps in order to uncover clues, command their police team, conduct FaceTime interrogations, receive calls, and even affect news headlines. This unique gameplay experience truly immerses players in the world of a murder investigation.

One of the standout features of Scriptic is its remastered chat fiction format, which allows players to run an entire murder investigation from their phone. With six episodes to explore, including an alternate ending, Scriptic delivers a captivating narrative that will keep players engaged from start to finish.

The live-action experience of Scriptic features a talented ensemble cast of actors, providing an authentic and immersive storytelling experience. Players will have the opportunity to engage with criminal minds and interact with police colleagues, all while trying to solve the case.

What sets Scriptic apart from other games in its genre is the inclusion of a real murder detective as a narrative consultant. DCI Michael Sutherland, voiced by Detective Sergeant Simeon Cryer, brings a level of realism and expertise to the game that is unmatched. Detective Cryer's 20 years of experience in the Bristol Major Crime Team adds depth and authenticity to the story and choices players make throughout their investigation.

The choices players make in Scriptic have significant consequences and can alter the narrative in meaningful ways. Season 1 of Scriptic centers around the murder of 16-year-old Jerome Jacobs, a beloved member of the community. Players will dive into Jerome's chat histories, photos, and social media accounts, getting a unique and powerful glimpse into his life and the events leading up to his tragic death. Uncover strange occurrences, connect with Jerome's family and friends, and see how your choices ripple through national news headlines as you strive to find justice for Jerome.

Season 2 features the murder of a world-famous influencer named Gemma Dream. As players investigate her death using her phone, they will discover that her seemingly perfect life hid painful truths. In this season, players will have to balance professionalism with personal growth as they strive to uncover the truth behind Gemma's murder.
